Question about initiating someone...
Alright, so I have seen bits and pieces of people speaking about how they didn't become a DG sister until after their college days. How do you go about doing this?
My mom went to a private school that didn't have any sororities, and she has always told me she feels like she missed out ebcause she was never able to be apart of something. If it is possible, I would love to try and see about getting her to enter as an adult. I don't know if it is possible, can someone please clarify this for me? If she could do this, I think she would cry for days. hahaa |
hey I dont know exactly how do it other than contacting EO or the almune group in the area that she lives in... BUT I do know that it can be done in DG...our colonizing chapter included a professor at Auburn and it was really neat. She was so cute at initiation asking us what to do....so it can be done and I think it would be awesome for you and your mom. Good luck....

Thanks, I just emailed the local alumnae group for her area, and I also dropped a little email to the vp membership for EO.
I guess we'll see what happens! |

Hey meridionaleDG,
Any updates? Is your Mom going to pursue becoming a DG? It would be sweet if you could be at her initiation! :D |
I talked to her about it and she got really excited. She is having surgery this summer, so I think I am going to try to see about getting her involved next summer. The alumnae group close to her does all kinds of things I know she would love. So, - haha I'll update you next summer!!
