Accomplishments
 

Last year I got pretty sick and gained quite a lot of weight. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder in the fall and my life was pretty crazy for a while. I finally started taking control of my illness and my life about ten weeks ago, and I'm proud to report that I've passed my first weight-loss goal... 21 POUNDS!

Check it out. This is a picture of me from our Province meeting at the end of February (I'm farthest to the left). Now compare it to this picture of me, which was taken two weeks ago at our campus Habitat for Humanity fundraiser (I'm third from the left in the back row). And that was only at 17 pounds; my face has thinned out even more since then!

I can't tell you how great it is to feel in control of my life again, not to mention having my old body back.

I decided that we could all use a morale boost from time to time, so go ahead and post here when you've acheived something cool, be it grades, significant others, jobs, fitness, etc.

Wow, congratulations it's good to see that hard work and discipline paid off for you. That is a drastic difference between pictures. Keep it up and feel good about yourself, losing 20+ pounds is quite an accomplishment.

Way to go, KappaKittyCat! That is a great accomplishment. I know how hard it can be to lose weight. I have lost 24 pounds since the first of the year. Keep up the good work!

I passed probation at my job today! I have security, and a paycheck that barely covers the rent, and I'm happy.

I also painted my toenails without spilling any on the carpet. Hey, when you're accident-prone me, you look for the small things.
