Bye for the summer!
 

Hey gals!! Just wanted to give you all a big good-bye! I finish my last exam today (a take-home) and my parents have already taken my computer home. I'm using my boyfriend's computer for the next few days until I leave for Washington, DC where I'll be working in a women's shelter in the inner city! It's through my school's Shepherd Poverty Program and I'm very excited about it. :) The only drawback is the lack of computer access. How will I survive without GC? :eek:

I hope everyone has an AWESOME summer. Good luck w/ summer classes and preparations for fall rush! I will probably be around some, but not much, until August, when I go home for a few weeks (move-in for W&L Dorm Counselors next year is August 31) while I get my wisdom teeth removed, and of course, feed my rush thread addiction!

Have fun this summer!

I'm doing a bunch of stuff this summer. Two days a week I work for my university's speech and language based preschool. (Makes sense since I'm a speech pathology major.) This is cool 'cause I'm already working on my graduate hours by doing the preschool. Then four days a week I'm a babysitter for an autistic boy. Basically I just play with him and work on language skills. I'll also be studying for my upcoming GRE test. Fun! :)

Have a great summer ladies!!!

This summer I will be taking a course distance ed to help catch me up so I can finally graduate (not that I want to but I probably should). Hopefully I'll be taking a course at the end of august so I can get a TESL certificate and I am working part time at Coca-Cola.
Before you know it summer will be over and we'll all be back at school (which I am excited about because I took last semester off and I really miss Pi Phi).

Anyway, everyone have a fantastic summer and don't work too hard!!
