New Delt HQ Dedicated...
The new Delta Tau Delta international headquarters was dedicated this afternoon (5-31-2003)
Unfortunately, although I considered a trip, I couldn't be there, but look forward to reading about it on the website and the next magazine. There is an artist's rendering at www.delts.org |

Congratulations Delts! :)

Congratulations, DTD on your beautiful new headquarters!
|
Congrats!
Congratulations to Delta Tau Delta! Pi Beta Phi also opened new headquarters this past year. It was very exciting to read about it in The Arrow! May you have many long years enjoying your new space. :)

Congratulations to the fine men of DTD!!!
Never met a Delt I didn't like! :) |
Always great to see the fruits of our labors! Congratulations to the men of DTD.

First and foremost, Congrats to all the Delts out there - - it looks to be a real beauty!!!
Secondly, and I don't mean to hijack, but - - Anyone know why so many headquarders are in/near Indy?? Or like who the first few GLO's that put theirs there?? Just curious, it seems as though there are so many! |
If memory serves me there are only about 28 of the 81 or so NIC and NPC groups headquartered in Indianapolis - I went through the Indy phone book last year and counted for some silly reason :).

But still, that's quite a few to have in one centralized location like that!

Tom, looks awesome!!!!!
Good for DTD. Hope with so many Hdq. there that they call all work together for the good of All Greek Organizations. |

Actually, there was a thread on this some time ago and a lot of people have wondered the same thing -- including me. So, I asked our central office folks. The reason is simple. The State of Indiana (and Indy and suburbs) gives huge tax breaks to Greek Letter Organizations -- and not for profits -- and that makes it very advantageous to locate there. |
Congratulations to the men of Delta Tau Delta...we hope you enjoy your brand new building as we enjoy our colonial home in Charlottesville, Virginia, home of our International Memorial Headquarters - built in 1922, purchased in 1966, and dedicated during the fraternity's centennial in 1969 (psst...if you want a tour, go here!
