Housing Corps
 

I just talked to a girl who works with me and is a current member of the chapter I am alum from. She said that she found a house and is going to be talking to our Housing Corporation about it. My chapter has had this fund set aside for ages now and it's not gone anywhere. She said the house has 5 bedrooms, a pool, hot tub, is within walking distance from the University, and there is a guest house in the back with amenities for the "House Mom". She said their asking for $1,000,000 but if they pay cash they might go down on the price.

Anyone else's chapter not have a house and has a housing corporation or has just recently gotten a house? What goes into it? I was just curious cuz I know how much it'd mean for the chapter to get a house for at least the Executive Board to live in and then they can still hold meetings and events there.

P.S. We'd be the first sorority on campus to HAVE a house! :D

Hootie, we have a lot of housing corp feedback on Chi-O Hooties and even a few national housing corp officers. You might wanna ask over there. We also have two chapters that just acquired a house and some discussion about that. Lastly, Nationals has a Housing Corp newletter that they published on it's web site. With a lot of info there, too.
