I love Martha

Just thought I would toot Alpha Phi's horn, but I was remembering all those times in meetings we were reminded "where Martha was". I think that its so great to have a international organization to have a code for all its members to use. It just shows a greater care and responsibility for its members.

Girl, Martha's never been in touch with me. :D ;)

Me either, and if she did, I might just fall over! :D

What does this mean? I feel like I should know, but I don't. PM me if it's an Alpha Phi secret. I want to know! :)

This is not a uniform Alpha Phi saying. Some chapters use the expression "Martha's watching" or something like that as a part of their watchcare. I assume that ivygirl is referring to some similar saying from her chapter.

How interesting. I've never heard this expression before. Cute!

Our chapter used "TNP". Is anyone else familiar with this?

Nope, we use something along the lines of what lauradav posted.

Martha

We use something like "martha's calling" and now with the technology age we sometimes say, "martha just sent you an email." which is really popular :)

For us TNP = That's not Phi, and we use it whenever a sister is doing something that we consider not Phi. I hope that helps....
