Why!!! Why!!! Why!!!

Why is it that all the good looking guys you are interested in is gay? I'll have to admit, 95% of them are hot. Any of you girls pissed too?

FiReKraCkEr 05-28-2003 09:16 PM

Eh, got over the madness over two years ago...one of my best guy friends came out, I learned one of my exes came out, and I have always had gay friends.

They may be hot, but they make better friends anyway. Always a shoulder to cry on when their straight counterparts breaks your heart. Also, my gay friends are always hilarious and fun to be around. They are blunt and could give a rats a$$ about what others think or say. Good people.

There are too many good, non gay guys out there too...you just gotta LOOK very very carefully :)

People always want what they can't have.

valkyrie 05-28-2003 09:32 PM

It's funny but I've never had this problem! Maybe it's because I like guys with minimal fashion sense, LOL.

DeltaZeecutie 05-29-2003 12:03 AM

I've liked a few gay guys, but I mostly fall for the guys that later that night I find out have a girlfriend or some committment problem. No normal single guys for me! :(

bethany1982 05-29-2003 12:06 AM

They are so often gay or married...

DeltaZeecutie 05-29-2003 12:07 AM

I know i don't run into a lot of married men, but i guess thats since i'm in college. At least i know they only have semi-serious girlfriends.

AlphaFrog 05-29-2003 12:09 AM

I happen to think gay guys are awesome...most of them are flirty ( I totally love to flirt!) and you know they aren't going to break your heart!!! Plus, who better to scope out guys (and make sure the one you have your eye one isn't gay!)

DeltaZeecutie 05-29-2003 12:15 AM

that is true....gay men can be a lot of fun....especially if you take them shopping

Welcome to the curse of the theatre major!

I'm constantly surrounded by caring, talented, passionate, funny, wonderful men. And I can't have a single one of them!!!

But they do make good shopping buddies.

DITTO!!!

it's a rough world these days, ladies.....not only could your dream man be married, but he could be married to a MAN. oh, it hurts....it stings......it BITES. but oh well......gay men are fabulous and i love the ones in my life! :D thankfully, i have managed to only have deep rooted feelings for one......and that my desire for his friendship out-weighs my selfish desire to bedesired. make sense? if not, damasa will take away all my points and i will LOSE! :p

ADPi~Ally 05-29-2003 04:10 AM

My experience is that the good ones are taken already. So I have lots of taken guy friends. Or they r married or they are not interested in me. My one guy friend that was gay, was totally awesome.

White_Chocolate 05-29-2003 09:35 AM

Okay, there is a total myth that all gay guys have a fashion sense. . .because some of them do not.
I saw one who wears these black velvet pants that look like they belong to someone on the dance team.

MoxieGrrl 05-29-2003 09:39 AM

Wow.....I hear ya, TexasAGD! This past weekend, I got my tattoo redone by the hottest guy. Very, very tasty in that tattooed/pierced/ear stretched way....he had a gorgeous face, beautiful teeth, a wonderful voice. But.....he's gay.

He's going to make some man out there very happy, even if us chicks are left panting.

PM_Mama00 05-29-2003 10:10 AM

I was in love with this guy who was my seriously dream guy. Everyoen in my class thought he was gay, but I didn't care. We became very close friends and I asked him a few times and he told me no (in his bitchiest voice) and then told me about his girlfriend. I was heartbroken. So.... a month or so later.... he pretends to be on the phone with his girlfriend and I'm like "ew I don't wana hear you tell her that you love her"... he does anyways with this smirk on his face. Then he says "here she wants to takl to you"... ok I'm thinking I'm gona get bitched out for hanging out with her boy all the time. It ends up being his "best friend" that I met a few days before that!
