James's thread got me thinking...
If you could be "in love in a movie," which movie couple would you want to be and why?

I would have to say Danielle and Henri from "Ever After"....I love that movie!

Harry and Sally from When Harry Met Sally....I just love the way they fell in love without even realizing it. plus it's one of my all time favorites!

I would have to agree. They were an awesome on-screen duo...and I love the idea of falling in love with my best friend.

Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman in While you were Sleeping

Maverick and Charlie in "Top Gun" Boy oh boy, Tom used to be such a hottie!

Beatrice and Benedick in Branagh's adaptation of "Much Ado About Nothing" (the one with Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson in those roles) ... my favorite movie couple ever.

Darrius and Nina from the movie lovejones...

Harry and Sally. I only wish I could speak with that much wit! Or Don and Lina from Singin In the Rain... I've always loved "old Hollywood," and think it would make a fascinating place to live!

Han Su Yin and Mark Elliot in "Love is Many-Spledored Thing"

Sgt Warden and Karen: Burt Lancaster and Deborah Karr's characters in "From Here To Eternity" *um, rolling around on the beach in the waves, YES please!

Alfred and Klara in "The Shop Around the Corner", the classic "You've got Mail"

Freaky, argumentative, and in the end, utterly romantic.

If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it -- although I will warn you it is an unconventional romantic comedy.
