What do you like about other GLOs other than your own?

I thought it could be fun or interesting. What you like could be anything from that GLOs colors to their philantrophy. Just thought it might be fun and whatever you write doesn't mean that you don't love your GLO as I'm sure we all do!
:)

I'll start...

I really like Chi-Os colors. They are just so bright and cheery. I also like their motto. I like ADIIs colors too. The Sigma Nus at my school were always quite nice! :)

Ok your turn...

I admire Zeta Tau Alpha's commitment to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

I think Delta Gamma has the most incredible website!

I think it's nice that some other sororities allow their members to wear their badges as pendants or rings.

There must be something in the water at the Chi Omega houses because I have yet to meet a Chi O who is not fun, sweet, intelligent and in general a class act.

I like Tri Delta's colors: silver, blue and gold

ZTA's philanthropy is amazing. And their dedication to it is even better. I know when I lost my mom to brest cancer, not only were my sisters there for me, but the Zeta's were too. Coming up here in June will be my frist Race for the Cure with out my mom cheering me on on the side lines, but I'll be surrounded by the Zeta chapter and hopefully will have my best run ever!!!

2 snaps and a high five...

-to D Phi E for tackling the issue of eating disorders - it's something that is so prevalent and often swept under the rug.

-to DKE for standing up for associational rights and not wussing out to administrators.

-to all the individual chapters who are awesome enough to include a history of their school's greek system on their website. Context is a wonderful thing. :)

I've always thought DZ's creed was beautiful, especially the "That I may walk truly in the light of the flame". I love it!

Every Zeta that I have ever met has been so sweet! They are one of my personal favorites!!

I think Kappa Delta has such a beautiful badge! I love the emeralds!

If I may, I love all of the D-9, for all of the reasons that make us unique from each other. We are all supporting our communities in different ways but in the end it's the same thing we're doing. :)

Outside of the D-9, I would say Delta Zeta's support of the Girl Scouts and the speech and hearing impaired.

Alpha Phi and Phi Sigma Sigma--I like their badgesNPC badges

I really admire Alpha Chi Omega's commitment to the arts, even though they are no longer a music sorority. Additionally, all the AXO's I've ever met (from different schools, no less) have been ladies of class and style.

Delta Sigma Theta seems to really instill a sense of community and a commitment to improve other people's lives in their members.

Sigma Phi Epsilon's Balanced Man program seems like a really innovative approach to pledging. What a great idea to focus on the whole person!

The brothers of Phi Mu Alpha have so much fraternity spirit - they truly love Sinfonia!

Any of the Divine Nine-they truly install the "lifelong commitment" into their members. You never hear a member say they WERE DST, etc.

Zeta for their amazing philanthropy.

KA-I've never met one that wasn't a total gentleman.

Theta-I echo KillarneyRose's sentiment about XO about Theta. I've never encountered a Theta who was not the epitome of class.

Lambda Chi-Always a strong brotherhood!

Theta Phi Alpha-LOVE their badge!

Whats the Devine 9?

These are some great responses!

I like the spirit I see in Alpha Gamma Deltas. No matter where they are, they always seem to have a close-knit and very active sisterhood.

And among the D9, Delta Sigma Theta has always stood out to me. It seems that whenever I read about an African American woman who has achieved personal or professional sucess, she's a Delta.

The Union Triad, without them, who knows where we will be.

docetboy 05-27-2003 12:16 PM

Phi Beta Kappa. They set the standard which led to the American founding of Kappa Sigma in 1869.

GeekyPenguin 05-27-2003 12:25 PM

I love all the orgs that have symphonys. (A Chi O and Chi O?)

I love SigEp for doing the BMP and showing all the fraternities on my campus that you can get guys without demeaning them.

I love Sigma Alpha's philanthrophy.

I love Phi Mu's colors and symbols and open ideals.

I love KD's website, and how every KD I have encountered had always been very Panhellenic.

I love all the D-9 orgs for working so hard at everything, be it intake or service or scholarship - they have true dedication.

JerzeeBoy26 05-27-2003 12:37 PM

I'd have to say I like our cohorts in the Miami Triad: Phi Delta Theta and Sigma Chi. Despite the tendency of fraternities to be very singular and exclusive, nearly early 150 years later, our 3 still have a strong bond based on an unparalleled history in the fraternity world.

rock on miami !
