When folks outwear their welcome, how do you get them to go home?

I am sure there are some funny stories to share. I will let Ideal08 share the one that we have in common. ;)

Man, I wish your soror was on GC!!! Because no one can say it like she can.

Ok, we had a Chicken and Waffles New Year's Eve After-Party. The food was served at 2am. We figured people would be ready to leave around 5am or so. Then we could have our recap amongst the original guests. Anyway, ALMOST everyone leaves. There are two dudes and two girls that are vibin', I guess. They were NOT trying to leave. Clue #1 (around 5:30am): Nikki comes out with the air mattress. Clue #2: She begins to blow up the mattress. The couples don't move. Then, Nikki begins to talk about how she likes her chicken. She says, "I like chicken. You know how I like it best? AT HOME." Then, they move! We get hyped!! All they did was switch seats so they could pair off and keep talking. We were like :mad:!! We were ready to recap and go to bed! So Nikki has by this time completely inflated the air mattress. She continues to ask people, "Do you like chicken? How do you like your chicken?" We had to respond, "AT HOME!!" It was hilarious. THEN, when they finally left (6:15 or so), one of the dudes had the NERVE to take home like four cans of pop!!! It was a trip.

My friend had some friends come and visit her. One came with a bike another with a huge duffel bag. Neither one asked if they could stay over. They just assumed they could since they all grew up together and this is what they used to do in the past.

Well, times have changed, everyone is in college, and they need to ask if they can stay over. Well when her Mom woke up the next morning and saw the guests, she was annoyed, gathered her thoughts and politely went to the living romm and proceeded to open up the curtains, turned on the radio at nice volume that she can hear in the kitchen and said Good Morning, do you all have jobs? And offered them a cup of coffee.

They were sound asleep, but the BRIGHT LIGHT and music woke them up. They looked lost....you know the look you get when someone wakes you up abruptly.....

They haven't been back since.

Maybe they went to get jobs! :rolleyes:
