Gossip time . . . Is Michael Jackson really broke?

Is it true that Michael Jackson is broke and can't pay the art gallery their money that was awarded to them by the courts. What is going on in the Jackson household?

people are always trying to link being broke to MJ... all i gotta say is it seems to me that it would be HARD TO BE BROKE considering all the money he made(and may still be making) off the jackson 5 days... not to mention that he can still sell out any arena the day he decides to perform. royalties, the catalogs he owns worth millions, his production company (MJJ)... even if he was in debt, all he's gotta do is write a book or do some interviews and KA-CHING.
all i'm wondering now is...
how can i be down? ;)
(i'm an MJ fan no matter what!)

Shoot...

after my girls TLC and Toni B turned up broke and in debt after ALL the success they have had in their careers I wouldn't put anything past MJ. He just may have some shall we say "financial concerns" to deal with.

Word has it, his spending is out of control.

"Michelle" Jackson is NOT BROKE!!!!!!!!!! "She" receives at least 7 figures in a residual and exponential income. Being a business owner, and a potential entertainment lawyer, I know that he still receives royalty checks, publishing checks and songwriting checks for the rest of "her" natural born life. "Her" spending habits are kinda out of control, but in order to receive tax write-offs and an abundant return on "her" money, "Michelle" MUST either spend an OUTRAGEOUS amount of money or have another baby, which given "her" circumstances, will NOT happen in the near future!!!!!!!!!! And I call him "Michelle" b/c he was born a Black man and he has transformed himself into a WHITE WOMAN!!! :p :p :p :D

OK, I'm so mad @ Michelle, that is just wrong lil_sunshine! lol Mike turned into a white woman....that's just wrong girl! :eek: :D

Royalty checks.....oh yeah, he still is getting those huh? I thought I had watched an interview that commented on the "Never never land ranch" and how costly is was to run, and how it was straining his finances, etc.....

I am a bit confused. What does the word broke mean anyway. According to my definition, the man is not broke. Anytime, you can earn over $1,000,000 dollars in less than a week, you are not broke. He has the skills and talents to make enough money to feed a small country.

i heard that! no matter how that man looks, i will always be a DIE hard michael jackson fan because his talents are out of this world! when i look at half these people dropping records now, i see that most of them are commercialized to death and can't sing, have to be taught how to dance... and don't even get me started on writing or producing... at least my dawg mike got the skills to pay the bills... and while folks speculating on if he is "broke" or not, he still has more money than a lot of us! (which makes me ask the ubiquitous question: how can i be down?!)
