I just found out last night (apparently it's been known since April and I had no idea!) But being a LOYAL, obsessed, Saved By The Bell fan, Seasons 1 and 2 are coming out officially from NBC on DVD September 2nd!! Yay SBTB:D

I was watching it the other day and it was the episode with the zit cream and kelly's face turned maroon when she was running for homecoming queen. -gasp-

but of course, it all worked out in the end and Mr. Belding thought that Zach had persuaded everyone to paint their faces school colors.

Are these going to be the middle or high school years? I'd buy high school on DVD, but the middle-school ones aren't worth the $40 DVD in my humble opinion.....

I'm assuming it'll be the high school years. The middle schools actually weren't originally SBTB -- they were part of a show called "Good Morning Miss Bliss" that Disney intended to be a showcase for Hayley Mills. SBTB was the spinoff, and it was more popular than the original show, but the producers of SBTB decided that they could package "Good Morning Miss Bliss" as a sort of "retrospective" of Zack's middle school years. If you remember little intros to the middle school episodes where high school Zack said stuff like "Once, when Screech and I were in middle school, we . . . " -- that's when the producers decided to incorporate the GMMB episodes into SBTB, but they weren't originally part of the series.

I think there were four seasons of high school, and one of college.

I'm really excited about this! I would definitely buy any of the high school seasons, and probably the College Years too. It'll be kind of cool to see the episodes in the order they were originally meant to be seen in, since I always watched them in reruns after school on TBS and I've never known what the order was supposed to be.

I never knew about the GMMB show facts...thanks for sharing! I always thought the "remembering back" parts of the show were added as the show went into reruns...real interesting stuff!

I used to rush home from boyscout meetings in order to see SBTB...and I looked at them trying to anticipate what high school would be like...:rolleyes:
