Which is more important numbers or quality?
 

I would say quality in almost any case unless your chapter is near death. In that case take who you can get and improve when u have more resources.

When it comes to quality or quantity i would have to go with quality becuase i would not want to initiate a bunch of damn douch bags. remember that discussion about cutting pledges.. oh yeah that one. Why the hell would you let someone into your bond if you don't like the bastard. shit i thought this was common sence but i guess its not. (no offence zntke711) but i am sure that there are chapters that just want people, shit i am positive that there are because i have met some of these shitty ass chapters. DAMNIT here are some things that the people that are on this forum that are in shitty chapters need to know.

Rule 1: Cut pledges
Rule 2: Cut dead weight
Rule 3: Don't be a bunch of douch bags and give My Fraternity a
bad name!

I will agree that there are some fraters that were probably quanity but my question to you is who are we to judge I know that are vurtues allow us too, but sometimes I am afraid that we are being the douche bags by not learning more about these pledges before we cut them and could have possibly lost excellent assets to the fraternity not just our chapters I see this all the time when we cut a man who is now the president of the fraternity that is right on our tails. You can not judge quaility or quanity till a person is challenged and I am afraid at times we dont do a good job of doing that.
