forumsae.net
Anyone else been on this site recently? I tried looking through the member database (to check my listing) and it seemed very sluggish. I don't know if the boyz in Evanston are updating it or what, but I couldn't get more than a couple of pages to come up. Ideas?

You have to send an email to webmaster@sae.net requesting access. It would help if you identified yourself as an SAE since the site is supposed to be for members only. Once your membership status is verified, the webmaster will email you back a temporary username and password. You'll also be instructed further about your permanent username and resetting your password. |
hey phi alpha, thanks for your help

There are a couple ways to get registered:
1) Send the email to webmaster@sae.net. 2) Look on the back of The Record. There is a number between to pound signs on the second line of the mailing label. put 1856 in front of the number (if it is 7 digits, subtract the last digit) as the username. your badge number is the password. I have used the site quite a bit. It is very cool, although it does have a few problems. |
yea its pretty cool, not that much info, i wish their was an area that was actually a forum so you can actually chat with other saes on it

SAE National Web Site
Brothers;
Playing catch up on this board. If anyone has not yet checked out the New, Updated, Improved National site, one sure take the time to. Members only site is sub-divided into Forum and a new networking group. Both require different sign in, not sure if one has to be registored for Forum before networking group but it may not hurt to be. Jon |
