I got a laptop today! I'm so excited. As if I'm not online enough already!

I'm trying to download AIM so that I can keep up with my Beta girls, but I'm having trouble. Any advice?

Yep...I'm totally hooked on my laptop! I got an hpPavilion ze4200. I got a totally fantastic deal at Staples. It was on clearance, and since the floor model was the only one they had left, I got $150 off, plus a free extended warranty.

My trouble with AIM was that I got the "Please wait for Download" screen FOREVER. I finally just gave up. As far as I could tell, the downloading process never really began. I did get confirmation that my screen name and password were established, but the software is definitely not on my computer. I think I'll just try it again.
