DG Star?

I read earlier in the Chit-Chat thread "What is your fraternity or Sorority's must interesting fact?" that DG has a star in Orion's Belt or somewhere in the Universe. Then when I went back I couldn't find it. Does anyone know if this is true or if things just got mixed up? If so, its pretty awsome. If not, I want to get the record clear. Thanks!

P.S. I would like some hard proof, please. Some form of documentation.

Yes we do have a star! Not sure where it is though. But Yeah us! We also have our own flower :)

I believe that if you look through your watchwords, you'll find the fact in there. I know our chapter uses that fact a lot and I believe that when I was VP Member Ed, that was one of the DG firsts or facts that we listed.....

I heard a story that we have a DG bage on the moon together with Neil Armstrong's badge from Phi Delta Theta...is that true?
I hear other sororities claiming that story too

Urban legend....although in my version, it was an AXO badge.

Yeah, I believe that I read about the Star in the Watchwords also, but my memory is failing me in my "old age" LOL.

I heard that pin on the moon thing about tri-delt too.. but, i heard it was all false?

So, I did some research about this whole star thing.... I found that star naming is invalid and has no real meaning to the scientific community. I found a good website to help me understand this.

It was really bugging me that I couldn't find any info in my Watchwords, national website, or anywhere regarding the DG star.
