OK, so summer as far as Mem. Day weekend is right around the corner. I can't wait ...

Lay out at the beach.
Go to Navy Pier.
Beer gardens.
More baseball games at Wrigley.
Taste of Chicago.
Block parties.
Outdoor dining.
Pools.
Strawberry poppyseed salads at Bread Co.

walking to Poor Phil's and sitting at one of the outdoor tables, enjoying a good beer and sweet potato fries

going for long walks around the neighborhood at night

grilling veggie burgers and stuffed peppers

ditching work in the afternoons and taking naps at home (oh wait, I do that all year, LOL)

Having a real tan, not one out of a bottle
Cute sandles to show off fresh pedicures
Going sleeveless at night and NOT freezing (no more hunched over get-me-inside-before-I-freeze-to-death-in-my-little-outfit car to bar sprint!)

I can't wait to:

get paid to tan and flirt with cute guys (i'm a lifeguard during the summer)
see my baby sister everyday for 3 months, i miss her so much, she's only 2 and doesn't understand the whole college thing
go to Winton Woods and have picnics
go camping with my friends
hanging out at BW-3's and Frickers after swim meets
NO HOMEWORK!!!!!
actually having a good social life bc my job ends at 7 every night
