Two Towers DVD

Does anyone know when the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers DVD comes out. I want to buy it (I'll admit, I really liked the movie), but I don't know when I should start looking for it.

Sure, whatever makes the money.

Thanks for posting the info. I'm pretty sure that the Extended Edition comes out November 16th.

Though it sucks that they're going to release two different versions, I think it's justified. I mean, they each have their good points. I'll probably be buying both. I heard that the Extended Edition has an extra 45 minutes of footage on it.

Well worth it!

Probably lol. And it will have all the makings of etc. But it is already done so well that sucks lol.

I think that they have 2 versions is great...

sure...they make more money...but its also great for us.

think about it

you want to see the cut scenes right...well would you only want that edition and have no chance of ever seeing what was in the theater again...i doubt it. so therefore, they really are doing thier fans a service by having 2 differetn editions with different features because each one serves a different purpose.

Schmeer 06-02-2003 12:13 PM

try bestbuy.com i think they have a good price over there

Here is a cool pic of the EE cover- glad to see that it will go nicely with the FOTR EE set:

Those pics look great...I'll probably buy both copies, I'd like to have the theatrical release to hold me over until November, but I'm really looking forward to seeing the Extended Edition... 43 minutes of extra footage...can't wait.

I also heard that there's a possibility that a gift set similar to the one for FotR will be release late late this year... any news on what it may include?
