Skit Ideas :)
 

Hi ladies!

My chapter at WPI has decided to have the fall 2003 recruitment theme be "Behind the Scenes of Sorority Life" and have it be very glam and classy yet since its behind the scenes, also very down to earth, a good representation of our chapter.

But I really need help for the recruitment skit- more along the lines of content ideas.

Can anyone help me?

I know we dont want other organizations taking our ideas, but I'd really appreciate if you'd help a sister out.

Carla, its not that we don't want to help...it may just be that such a skit might be difficult to do. Also, quite a few of us are alumnae and our skit days are long gone. ;)

Your Recruitment Consultant will also be a great person for you to contact, because she has seen skits from MANY different chapters and she can point you in the right direction. There are also several VST alumnae who check in here regularly. I'm sure they will chime in soon.

Ok, I thought of this when I first read the post, but wasn't sure about the idea. But I'll go ahead and post it.
What about a Ripley's Believe It or Not skit that incorporates Sorority Life. A Fact or Fiction thing. For instance, you could have sisters re-inacting scenes from SL I or II and during the little skits they pause,another sister comes out and says whether its fact or fiction relating to Greek Life in general or to your house

Like the portraying the girls doing arts and crafts, and one of them is Brooke saying whatever she always says. Before they start a sister goes infront of the rushees and says something like, "Fact: All sororities make their pledges do is arts and crafts" The girls act out the scene and pause in place. Another girl then comes on and says whether its Fact or Fiction. I personally would make her like leap or jump out when she says Fact or fiction just to make it comical.

Just a suggestion. Anyone get what I'm saying?? :)

Yeah, I get it. I think it is a cute idea.
