who is the biggest ?
so the whole "best" thing kinda weirds people out. so I was just wondering, what are the three biggest fraternities on your campus (in terms of numbers only)? At my school, Kappa Sig, SigEp and Phi Delt are the biggest (in that order)
|
Zeta Beta Tau - 70 brothers
Delta Tau Delta - 53 brothers Sigma Alpha Epsilon - 50 brothers (numbers are for fall) |
lol we only have three :)
tke -42ish phi psi - 30ish sig chi- 24ish no one really knows till we find out who is allowed to come back and whatnots but that is about where they all are. |
I believe it's in this order (not 100% sure)
ACACIA PKA ATO Kappa Sigma Sigma Nu Sigma Tau Gamma But that should be changing by quite a bit for us at least. Based on people we're pretty confident will sign with us already we'll at least double in size next year, possibly more. |

Always go into the next semester with an open mind. If you don't get the number of guys you wanted or "thought" you would get you are going to feel let down. Just go with the flow.... |

I'll be an alumnus by the time that roles around though. Good to see the chapter doing well. |
since a couple of you are giving numbers:
KSig: 105 SigEp: 101 Phi Delt: 97 |
everyone just had to turn in updated rosters yesterday since it's the end of teh semester, so as for exact numbers...i cant say. but here is what it was this year:
sigma chi (by like 2) phi psi (my house) sae |
at the University of Toronto there's 17 frats.
the top 5 are (i think, not sure of #'s) lambda chi alpha theta delta chi alpha delta phi sigma chi sigma nu all of the above have houses, i have heard that kappa sigma and alpha epsilon pi are pretty big too, but we don't see or do much with them b/c they don' t have a house. |
*I will start with a personal disclaimer*
This post is about the largest houses on campus and not the best...though there usually is a correlation. I was a rush counselor, and the numbers given us (last fall as the school year began) approximately were: Acacia 170 Pi Kappa Phi 150 Sigma Pi 130 All numbers are approximate though, I cant remember them exactly because my jaw dropped when they announced this. Yep...we do things BIG here in Indiana!!! :D |
For us, this is the top 3:
1) SigEp 2) AGP 3) TKE AGP and TKE are constantly back and forth, and Sigma Pi is usually really close behind them! And I have give credit to our SigEps, they have the largest fraternity chapter we've had on campus in about 50 years! Farmers don't really like Greeks... |
i don't know numbers, but the 3 largest at LSU appear to be:
sigma chi lambda chi alpha kappa sigma |
Alpha Chi Rho- 15 members
Alpha Sigma Phi-13 members Kappa Delta Rho- 15 members Phi Mu Delta- 9 members Sigma Pi- 8 members Tau Kappa Epsilon- 25 members (These numbers are from last semester, the school hasn't listed the new numbers yet.) |
We only have three... but the biggest is Pi Kappa Phi.... Second would be Phi Kappa Tau...
|
At Georgia State...
Pike- 50-55
Kappa Sig- 40-45 Sigma Nu- 40-45 |
