EEEEW! Spongebob Suffers a Grotesque Fate

I bought the cutest little Spongebob figurine for inside my daughters' fish tank and when I went to turn off the light just now, I discovered that the fish had eaten Spongebob's eyes out!

I made the quick decision to remove the now-blinded Spongebob from the tank so the girls don't see it. It was pretty traumatic looking http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/crap.gif

lol.. for some reason this made me giggle.. maybe it's because i've been reading about marketing for so long and anything i hear will be funny. :p I wonder what Spongebob's eyes were made out of that looked yummy to the fish?

What an adorable idea to put Sponge Bob in the tank to begin with though! Very cute!

Awww, poor SpongeBob! It's good you removed him before your daughters saw, because that could be traumatic!

Speaking of SpongeBob, my youngest sister (who's 3) told me I look like Squidward.

My eyes! My eyes!

that can't be good for the fish, can it?

I don't know WHAT they did with the eyes, if they ate them or just played with them

It's specifically made for aquarium use though, so the fish should be okay either way
