What to get mother on her special day?
 

I have a question for everyone:

What are you going to get mother for her special day?

I have just about given my mother everything under the sun or rather except for the sun. And now I looking for something really edgy and unique for my mommy! Yes, I know that I'm in my 30s and still calling her - mommy but that's how special she is to me! I would really like to hear from all of my fellow friends that enjoy chatting on this board.

Hmmm...what about re-presenting a gift you MADE for her when you were a child? The sentiment is the same but you could include a card and write something saying to the effect of "Even though I made this for you when I was 7, I loved you then and I still love you now. You will always be my MOMMY!"or something saying how much your love has grown from childhood to adulthood.

If that doesn't work, try diamonds.:p j/k
But, seriously what does Mom like? Her interests, hobbies? Does she like theatre? get her tickets to the next play or performance. Ya see where I'm goin' with this? Take your ideas from there. Good luck!!:)

Soror I decided upon a day at the spa because not only am I in competition with the previous gifts that I got her for former mother's days and birthdays, I also have to get her something different from my five real sisters and let's face it there is all but so much a person can get someone without repeating the ideals and gifts.
