Crafts and Congrats
Hey girls,
I'm from the Delta Eta chapter at the University of South Florida. And well first and Foremost i would like to thank my chapter on a job well done this year. We're both Sorority of the YEAR!! and Intramural Champs!! wow we're going to KICK BUTT during recruitment..... Which speaking of recruitment i'm the recruitment chair for my chapter and i was wondering if any of you had some good ideas on some cute Crafts we can do for philanthropy day....thanks bunches girls...LOVE IN AOT  ;) |
First off, congrats on your wonderful achievments....feels great to be a sister in KD, does'nt it?! :)
As far as crafts go for Philanthropy night projects, I can tell you what my chapter has done for years. For Philanthropy night, we dressed in green scrubs. On the scrub top, it had "KD Philanthropy NIght" with a shamrock and a date of the coressponding night. THen the bottoms, which I thought to be the cutest had "KD" on the back pocket! They were super cute, and it was easy for PNM's to remember! FOr the project, we have done "KDpillars", where where stuffed socks with rubber bands to make three sections. The PNM's could decorate them to make them look like catepillars, with eyes, antennas, and coloring. After the night was over, we took those KDpillars to a local hospital for children. One year, we decorated pillow cases as well to go to a childrens hospital. And I know this is rambling, but the best idea of all is to wear the KD scrubs and made IV bags. You can make them out of felt, perhaps in the shape of a teddy bear, and decorate them. I think thats the BEST idea! Good Luck on your Recruitment! In KD, ~*~ Jenn ~*~ |
KD pillars are always great...
or you could do Boo-Boo bunnies or bears.. or you could do the KD GS Try It badge.. do the actual project the GS have to do in order to get the badge. |
