Signs (NOT the movie)
 

Y'all - - I am BOY RETARDED!!!!! I know I talk to quite a few of you on IM and you've heard my rants and raves and stories galore (sorry bout that :p), but still I have another....

So I met this guy last night, down at where I used to live for last year....Lucky for me, he was visiting one of our sisters that was graduating, so I met him at her party....Turns out he only lives about 35 minutes away from where I live now. So that's cool - - not tooooo far, right? :)

Anyhow, I was diggin it, but my one sister said something about sleeping with him, so of course that made him immediately off limits....She didn't end up doing it, and had been telling me they've been 'good friends' for a while now, so it's safe for me to proceed, right?? (Assuming I get the opportunity)....

Anyhow, we'd all been drinking, but we weren't all smashed (some of us were)....I wasn't wasted...I noticed he was staring at me (Not like blatantly checking someone out staring, but just.. staring :confused: )... And quite often he'd make a joke or say something and look at ME to see if I was laughing, etc..Little things like that.

This morning we all go out to breakfast and then I go back to my house to finish packing up my stuff.....I then end up going BACK to my sisters house to see them again before I left (She's moving to Atlanta this summer :()....All three times that I left, he was sure to say "Nice to meet you :D"....He also made sure to tell me, all three times, that we need to hang out and/or party sometime, since we live fairly close to each other....And he gave me his email addy twice (I lost it the first time :p).

So, as I said in the beginning - - I'm boy retarded..Was this boy just friendly, or was there perhaps a little diggage going on??

Well, quasi-update time (I say quasi cuz it's really nothing to exciting, more of just a relief) - -

I talked to the sister who's party I was at...I slyly mentioned how I thought Boy was cuuuuuuuute and she not-so-slyly said "Yeah, he is".:confused: :( But anyways, we got into a conversation somewhat about him and she confessed that her and her step-mom had been talking about Boy and I....:eek: I was like NO YOU WEREN'T!!!!! lol But alas, they were. Sister said she thinks Boy and I would be cute together and that she was going to talk to Boy to see what he thought of me. Kind of third-grade-ish, but hey, I'm a wimp. I guess he already told her he think's I'm "Pretty cool", but she didn't dig any deeper than that, so that's all I know for now... She should be talking to him sometime this week...Cross your fingers!!!

Your "boy radar" seems to be better than you thought. Take the advice of your lovely sisters on this board and go for it! And if it doesn't work out you can post your misadventures here and we'll all tell you what a jerk he is...etc etc.... hee hee.

No updates :( No word from Boy either. And girl still hasn't talked to Boy because...Well just because she hasn't talked to him again since last I told you all...She's in the process of moving to Atlanta from Indiana, so things have been craaaaazy for her. He hasn't been online yet since I saw him and I'm not sure if I should email him....He was pretty adimate about the fact that I "Shoudln't worry" because he "will definately" email me.. That was almost a week ago (a week on Saturday), and it hasn't happened yet. Think I should wait until Saturday or so and shoot him a "Hey, how's it going, EMAIL ME OR DIE!" email?? :D :p

Talking to Boy right now on Yahoo! He's going to Cali for a week to help a friend move. How exciting. Not sure why I just told you that part of the conversation :rolleyes: LOL Anyhow, I told him he needs to come down and see me and help me move into my apartment in a few weeks. He said he has to work and he'll be in summer class and he's gonna be getting a second job...but that he'll be more than happy to squeak in a trip down to see me and help me move. :D

OH YAY!! thats awesome!! (oh and ill be visit'n that sweet new apartment of yours lady!

Woohoo!!! So I finally emailed Boy today (thanks to alphaiota) and he wrote me back a couple hours later!!!!! In case anyone is curious about what he meant by leaving, he's going to Cali for a week to help a friend move...Anyhow, this was the email:

Geez ow, it's been 16 days and no update. How can you guys survive??? LOL I emailed boy a couple days ago and he never responded to me. Lo and behold, I get on Yahoo Messenger today and there were some offline messages from him, as follows:

Hmmmm. :D I'm likin' the sounds of this so far. Everyone pray for me!! Hahaha It's getting off to a slow start, but I think I'd love a relationship with this guy. I told him he's going to come see me for my birthday. I hope he agrees. :)
