Weddings!
 

Just wanted to mention that today my grandbig is getting married in Sunbury, PA. Her whole SAI family is turning out and we're wicked excited. I get the feeling the Bennediction's going to be sung at some point. I'm thrilled that we get to combine her joy of being a sister with her joy of being a bride.

Are there any SAI wedding traditions you girls know of?

This has been an ongoing discussion on the national listserv lately. It seems like a lot of chapters will gather around the bride and sing the chorale (or some other song out of the Red Book) and present the bride with a rose.

When I get married I want all my sisters to wear red (dress, blouse, or something) and their badges (at the ceremoney, take them off for the reception)

oooohhhh i would so love my sisters to sing to me at my wedding! and that would be such a sweet thing to do for my big, if we could all get to ohio!

Ahhh! ::fans self:: If my sisters sang the chorale to me at my wedding I would cry!!! :)

We ALWAYS do that for the girls from our chapter! It's the sweetest thing ever. :)
