hey everyone, we had elections tonight for fall officers in my house. i ran for president...but lost. i was running against our current president, who had done so much and who i still look up to. but then i ran for vice president and won. i am stoked. all i wanted was one of the 2. anyway, who else is a new officer?

We have our elections this Monday.

I was installed as secretary a couple months ago. I guess i'm not too new anymore.

Up til this year I've always held one of the higher offices in the fraternity. My first year I was marshal (new member education), then I was Lieutenant Commander (V.P.) and finally treasurer. A great experience! Wouldn't recommend it for everyone. From your postings here it sounds like you have the tools to be great!

Hell I was Prez. once of the local but never of LXA! Never had the grades:D

DUH, I was to damn busy doing Chapter stuff! But did Grad. with a 2.000685!!! Had a 3.85 my last Sem to do it!:D

I can name every brother back then compared to Animal House!:D

Never give up the experience, you will get more out of it for doing it!:)

Josh, I too once ran for President of my chapter and lost, only to become the Internal Vice President.

Rather than becoming a lame duck, I took this position and made the most of it - helping to transform my chapter into an award winning chapter within PiKA.
