How to fix holes in jeans?
 

Hey I have a really nice pair of jeans and they've developed a hole. I wouldn't mind if the hole was on my knees but it's in the crotch area. Maybe this means I'm really well hung, but I don't ask questions. Anyway, is there anyway to fix this? I don't want to throw them out and i feel weird wearing them and wondering if people are seeing my natural beauty.

Iron on patches!:D

I have the same problem, and I use ductape. I'm serious, tape the inner side of the jeans.
It fizxes everything. :D

get one of those iron-on patch things, and then get someone with a sewing machine to sew it in, too...that should keep it in place better. The iron on's occasionally don't stay as well as they should...might keep your "natural beauty" covered a little longer.

It depends on the size and location of the hole.

If it's a matter of seams coming apart, you can resew them.

If it's a matter of a smaller wear hole developing, you can darn it.

If it's a larger hole, you'll have to patch. Although patching over a seam in the crotch might be difficult.

I say let your natural beauty show!

I've seen signs in some tailor shops/drycleaners for reweaving. I'm not sure that this could be done with jeans, but it might be worth checking out if you really like the jeans and don't want to fix them yourself.

why is it that all the nice pairs of jeans you own develope holes the quickest?

There is nothing like some holey jeans! Comfortable...

Try taking them back to the store it may be a manufacturing defect. I had a pair that did that and I took them to the store and they gave me a new pair.

At American Eagle they will replace them with a new pair. I mean they can't be like 85 years old but if they are fairly new, it shouldn't be a problem.

I heard they do the same thing at GAP and a few other stores.

@ my AE where I worked, we have had some people return pants for some crazy holes; in some cases they were more like huge rips down a pant leg. Its always funny to listen to a customer try to explain the reasoning. (btw, the person behind the counter wont care about the reason, I promise.)

One of my sisters had a hole in the crotch of her jeans and when she was at a store one day she saw a patch that said "Kiss My Patch." Quite the conversation starter at the bar....

Those stupid iron on patches don't work, so I really wouldn't waste my money trying. (I am the veteran of meny holey pairs of jeans.)

I'd try the duct tape solution if it's small, or if it's large cough up money for a new pair.

Do anyone else's jean always rip at the inside corners of the back pockets, or does my bubble butt just make it a very vulnerable position?
