This is my very first post, but I have been coming to this site to read the posts for the past few days. Let me first say thank you to the lovely ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif You ladies are soooo kind to answer everyone's questions the best that you can. Currently I am not a member of your wonderful organization, but I plan to attend the interest meeting in the near future. If anyone has any words of wisdom or just some kind words I would greatly appreciate it. Unfortunatly no one in my family is in a fraternity or sorority so this will be a first in my family. I am greatful that you laides are so kind and have steered me in the direction of choosing your sorority above all else. Thank you http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

I wish you luck as you begin your journey, and hopefully everything will work out for you. I was the first in my family to pledge a sorority as an undergrad, and I was also the first AKA! You, too, can begin a family tradition.

Good luck in your pursuit to become a part of America's premier sorority. I agree with Soror AKAtude, you can start a family tradition. It only takes one person to start a legacy.
