Needing Advise
 

I am a college student interested in pledging Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, but one question stands in my way. At the end of my freshman year in college I was place on probation, I attend summer school that year and was removed from probation. Since then I have been doing really well in school, with my current 3.0 GPA. My question is will the fact that I was place on probation affect me in anyway when I pledge.

I just wanted to thank you pink bunny for responding to my question. I sent an e-mail to the national headquarters about my question and they responded by saying that there is nothing noted that states I may not become a member, but maybe I need to check with the chapter at my school. Thanks Again.

I want to say no that shouldn't be a problem.
However i would call our nationals and ask them just to make sure. Good Luck.
