All the people I work with in the office (those that work full time) got flowers and cards. Most of them rolled their eyes at the gifts. Higher salaries is what they want, not flowers fo rtheir desks!

I got flowers. :D

I got taken out to lunch and gift certificates to Boston Store... that was more than enough for me! I was just suprised to get anything!

I had no idea about this "Day" until I was invited to a seminar just for administrative assistants. Hell, I didn't even know that's what I was considered. :cool:

i got a huge beautiful bouquet of flowers from my department, plus an american express gift cheque(woo guess who went shopping this weekend:) then i got another pretty bouquet of flowers from the head of our branch.
