Parents and letters

Does anyone know if parents are allowed to wear our letters?

I want to get my mom Phi Mu letters (like a sweatshirt) and under the letters have Mom embroidered.

Are we allowed to do that? I thought it'd be a cute mother's day present.

I don't know about the letters but have you thought about giving her the mothers pin?

To tell u the truth, I don't really like the mother's pin. I doubt she'd wear it anyways.

My chapter has made Phi Mu Mom and Phi Mu Dad shirts. My parents each have their own affiliations, but I think it is still just fine to wear my letters. It is clear that they are not members.

i have seen phi mu mom and dad t-shirts. i am not sure if they were on the carnation collection or not. if you go to the phi mu website, you can access the links to all of the sites that has a license to sell phi mu stuff....and i am sure that they are there.

i think that is a cute idea. i wanted to get the mother's pin for my mom...but i know she would never wear it...and she never wears t-shirts, so i don't know what to do with her!

Our "phi mu mom" shirts are embroidered polos.
