Has anyone seen this "documentary"? Supposedly it's a chilling tale of the rampant hazing that occurs in fraternities, but HBO found out that all of it was staged and refused to show it.

Go to the user comments, those are great. People buying into the crap even though they found out it was all staged, one guy calling greeks "weak followers", and how he automatically throws any resumes with any mention of GLO membership away.

I guess since this is imdb that the people posting those are just pencilneck movie dorks, but still, what a moron. Too bad there are many more like him......

isn't throwing away those resumes just cuz they mention some kind of GLO membership some kind of discrimination??? not to mention completely retarded!!!

If this dude's spending that much time on imdb, I doubt he is in the position of hiring anyone for anything.

Well, it just means his work force will be that much weaker. He's only hurting himself by missing out on all the leadership and interpersonal skills that implies.

Well, he thinks we're "weak followers". Maybe he should see how many important people in basically every facet of life are Greek. I mean, MLK, JFK, all but 3 presidents, and that's not even scratching the surface. Yeah, talk about weak followers :rolleyes: .

Part, if not all because I'm not sure of the content, was filmed at a fraternity house on my campus. There are rumors about how much was acting and how much was real. The filming happened about 2 years before I started school here so I don't know how true the rumors are. Shortly after filming, the fraternity's charter was pulled for unrelated charges that included hazing.

What fraterities were MLK and JFK in?

JKF is Phi Kappa Theta

MLK was an Alpha Phi Alpha.

Wow. Those are two of my favorite leaders. WHY DO ALL THE GOOD ONES IN HISTORY EITHER END UP KILLED FOR THEIR BELIEVES OR UTTERLY IGNORED. NOt just Democrats, but Republicans too like Abe Lincoln (assassinated) or Teddy Rosevelt (ignored)

I swear we are a nation of good people but why do we have to kill/silence anyone who tries to take us in the right direction. Even people I don't agree with have a right to talk. Limbaugh, LaRouche (spelling) etc, are for the most part silenced, mean while we can't get enough of Mr. Personality or um...yeah. Don't like either of the two L's politics views but would rather hear oppisitonal thought to mine than some bs about the real cancun. Jesus Christ's crucified nut sack!!! ARe we really this shallow? I saw one of the clips.....and although I know it was mostly staged...there was some ish in there that you can't just make up from nowhere. I mean, how likely is it that the average "actor" will know how to look humiliated?

All I'm saying is even if it was staged....it was pretty convincing.
