How many Black Greek Fraternities and Sororities are there? Could you possiably give me the name?

Names of the Divine Nine (Fraternities)

Alpha Phi Alpha
Omega Psi Phi
Kappa Alpha Psi
Phi Beta Sigma
Iota Phi Theta

Names (Sororities)

Alpha Kappa Alpha
Delta Sigma Theta
Zeta Phi Beta
Sigma Gamma Rho

There are 9 members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council; 4 sororities and 5 fraternities. There are many other historically black fraternities and sororities that are not affiliated with the NPHC. You can research the Divine Nine at http://www.nphc.org

There are at least 20-25 Black fraternities and sororities....those in the NPHC, the New Greek Alliance and others that are not affiliated with either group.
