Employment

Hey ladies!! I need some career advice. I live in the Cincinnati Area and am having the hardest time finding a career. Not just another job, but something that has growth potential. I want to be able to grow with the company. I just graduated from college in Dec. 2001. I feel like I have sent my resume everywhere. I am willing to go back to school even. Anyway, if anyone out there has any advice for me I would gladly listen!!
Thanks so much!!!

:)

Erin, have you thought of appling to local hospitals for sec positions. The hours can be very flexable and they sometimes have childcare services on site. I know that Central Baptist has a lot of fulltime positions here for clerical, with benefits, and childcare!

You can check out most opporunities at local hospitals on the web. I don't know what hospitals are up there but I am sure that there is something, so that you can get established and even return to school.

You might want to consider temping positions, sometimes it can lead to a permanent position. I've been temping since January, and the company I've frequently temped for (and liked very much) just talked to me about a possibility of a permanent position because they liked my work so much. You also get a better sense of the type of environment you like (small/large company) and whether you're a people-person/math-inclined/salesperson/etc.... Hope this helps and good luck!
