The Fratenrity Executives Assn. (composed of the paid staff of male GLOs) did its annual secret survey of GLOs in Oct. 2002, and the SAE magazine has published partial results for the "Big Six".


TKE - 247 chapters, 22 colonies, 3032 initiates in 01-02, 9463 undergrad members, 35 average chapter size, $497 4-yr. memb. cost

SPE - 239, 18, 5531, 13,907, 54, $425

Sigma Chi - 215, 6, 3418, 11,450, 50, $420

SAE - 208, 6, 3,000, 9200, 43, $545

PiKA - 208, 5, 4378, 10779, 51, $389

KS - 201, 7, 2945, 8157, 39, $330

LXA - 192, 15,3043, 8000, 39, $675

SigEp should be at 58 per chapter given those #s. So I'm not sure.

You forgot to add the colonies to get the average chapter size.

I don't know if those numbers are all that accurate.

for the most part ive heard that those numbers are pretty close to right...(is SPE Sig Ep??) as far a TKEs go ive heard that they are not reconigized at 60% of the campuses that they are on... i know they are everything greek doesnt stand for here a univ. of central okla.

Yeah that sounds about right but then again it is "about" right.

The TKE's used to be here at OSU but went off campus back in the 60's or 70's and we now live in their old house though it looks nothing like it did then. i know they are on at NSU my neighbor is one, too bad he wasn't a pike cause they run that campus.

Yeah NSU pikes a great guys, i played rugby with quite a few of them...

Northeastern State University...in Oklahoma. The board lately has been really dominated by Oklahoma Pikes :D :D :D
