5 Year Anniversary
 

Delta Nu is turning five...ok well in about a year...but I get to plan it. Does anyone have suggestions. We are doing budget and I don't want to ask for more than I will actually need. Like, what is the decorum on invinting nat'l people. Do we do the who na'tl council and staff or no staff? any tc's? can we send one invite to chicago alumnae or do we send them all indivudually? what about the chapter's near us? ahhhh! I'd appreciate any help!

I would make sure each alumna from your chapter receives an invitation, as well as the colony advisor and the staff who were at your installation. I don't think you need to send an individual invitation to each member of Chicago alumnae (unless there are only 10 or 20 of them). I would send one invite to the chapter. You can also send invites to nearby chapters.

I'm not sure about whether or not you should send an individual invite to each staff member. . .I'll defer to someone else on that question! Check with your DP or chapter advisor. . .or some of the Chicago alumnae would be able to help you with all of that. Get them involved sooner rather than later.

My chapter just celebrated 50 years and they invited all members of council but they didn't send single invites to staff. I would send an invite to the staff members who have worked and are currently working with your chapter.

As PsychTau said you would want to invite Delta Nu alumnae. You can call HDQ to get a listing, since you have all summer you may want to touch base with these women to be sure they have all of the correct information. You don't want to send invites and have them returned. If you need any assistance I am on the directory, The TC from Alpha Lambda.

We are having chapter stationary made for the occasion. I am going to start sending letters in the next few weeks so they are anticipating the event more. And solicite some help, hopefully, from orgs like chicago alumnae. Parrotsbay is one of our alpha class and has already agreed to give us help which fabulous.

So I guess I need to go through the nat'l correspondance and see who we've talked to huh? that is gonna suck.

Fourtunatly we have updated addresses for all of our alumnae, we had a bunch of the early women deactivate so we have to sort all that out, but we'll see what happens with that. Nat'l prob has that info, otherwise we have to get the founders to help us with the early ones :)

it is gonna be fun! We made collegiate-alumnae a year so i could plan it with plenty of time and so this is gonna be a fun year!
