Prayers needed
Hello. Thank you again to all of you who have kept those in the military in your thoughts and prayers.
Unfortunately, my family received some bad news this morning. My cousin Todd, who is in the 7th Marines in Iraq, was injured yesterday in Bagdad. He has lost a couple fingers and some hearing but otherwise will be okay. The good news is that he is alive and will get to come home. He is very close to me and AGD4Me - who is also on these boards. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. |
Thankfully he is alive and (mostly) well. My thoughts go out for his speedy recovery!

Sending positive thoughts...

W and AGD4Me, I'm sorry to hear that Todd was hurt, but at least he's okay and safe now! I'll keep on thinking of him (and Trevor!) and please pass along my best wishes for a quick recovery! I sent Todd a letter but he probably won't receive it till later...but that's ok!
Can't wait to hear all the details about the reunion!!! :D |
W,
I called and left a message on your cell, but I figure things are pretty chaotic right now. If there is anything--ANYTHING--that Sean or I can do to help your family out, please do not hesitate to call us. I mean it. Todd and Trevor have been in our prayers every night since they've been away, and we will be praying even harder now. I am just thankful that Todd's injuries weren't worse and thank God he is coming home. LIEP, M. |
W, my thoughts and prayers have continually been with Todd, Trevor and your family... I know this must be so hard. I think I am still in shock and just totally numb about the whole thing. I just can't wait for him to be home.
He mentioned that he received mail yesterday for the first time since the war began, and it was mail that had been sent about a month ago. Thank you so much to those of you who have written to him! Some of your letters may not have arrived yet, but he'll get them eventually and definitely appreciate it. :) He's on his way out of Iraq soon, and will be home safe before we know it. My continued good thoughts and prayers are with him and all of our troops and their families and loved ones. |
Ditto on all of the sentiments above!

Thank you. I think it is just now hitting me that this has happened. My aunt and uncle are with us now and it is nice to be able to spend time with family. Thank you for the continued support.
Maria, I will call you later. We are still trying to get ahold of Trevor in Japan to tell him about his brother. We have the Marines and the Red Cross working on it now. Loyally, Wendi |
My thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family, and your cousin on a speedy recovery!
