Local to ZTA
 

Does anyone know what the letters were for the local sorority that eventually became the Theta Sigma Chapter of ZTA? Also, if anyone has any info on the founder's names of the Theta Sigma Chapter please let me know!

If you know what your founding date as ZTA was, go to the school's alumni office and check out the old yearbooks from around that time. It will usually have a blurb when the group goes from local to national. :)

I found out Theta Sigma's previous Greek Letters which are Omega Phi. There were 13 founding members and others were pledged in later. We went ZTA in 1978.

Yes there were other locals at Winthrop so I knew that we had a good chance were a local as well. I didn't know for sure so I snooped around and found out our old letters, Omega Phi.

That's so cool that you're interested in your chapter's history! I've got an Excel spreadsheet that I'm working on to track what our chapters were before they were Zeta. I'm only up to the late 60's but if anyone wants to see it, just let me know.
