The Candle is Out For Us
 

I was informed of the Death of Kelly Gilmore, a ZTA SISTER From The U. Of Tenn.:(

The reason I was informed, is She is the daughter of My Brother Kevin Gilmore, BN Chapter pf LXA.

While it is not my Chapter, I met Kevin at BN Founders Day in Oct. and he is a Brother that I came to care for and love him! He was that kind of Brother.

Kelly was injured in a car accident, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown out of the vehicle. She was in intensive care for two days. But for lack of oxygen, she passed away!

Please pray for Her, Her Family, and Her Sisters of ZTA! :(

Tom, is Kevin an active brother or an alumni of BN? Just asking because I don't believe I know who he is, even though he is at my school.

Tom, do you know which of the University of Tennessee campuses? The flagship campus in Knoxville is my alma mater. When I was a pledge, we did our pledge formal with Zeta. Her poor family ....

Tom, thanks for posting this. Kevin and I went to Florida Tech in the '70s and were initiated only a week or two apart. Today we're both on the alumni board.

His daughter Kelly (19) was a ZTA at Zeta chapter at Knoxville. It must be very tough for them too.

I appreciate everyone's kind thoughts. She was Kevin and Jill's only child.

Oh, goodness, she did attend UTK. I'm an only child, too, so it really does hit me.
