16 ifc fraternities in the fall
 

at sdsu we just had our future aztec's day. its a day when incomming students can tour the campus and look at housing. all the clubs have booths on campus as well.
being the ifc rush dude i was passing out flyers for rush. it was starnge because we have 14 fraternities now, but the flyers had 2 more on them.... kappa sigma is comming back after leaving campus for a year, and a new fraternity is colonizing, phi mu alpha. it's kinda strange to see a new fraternity that is music baised forming.
in the spring we will have 17 as lambda chi alpha is comming back to campus.
anyway, just wanted to share the news.

I thought we already had Phi Mu Alpha here? I remember seeing a sign on the music building advertising that they seel cookies in the music hall every tuesday, plus I saw a guy with a PMA hat on.

In a lot of cases PMA doesn't associate with IFC. I am aware that they have a national movement pushing them to join that type of association on their campuses (MSTYCAT will correct me if I'm wrong:D )

I remember reading about those other two chapters and some pretty serious hazing allegations. Surprised they're coming back so soon.
