We won lip sync!
 

We're in the middle of Greek Week right now and last night the Phi Kappa chapter of Phi Mu won the lip sync contest! It is the first time in recent history that we've won this event and we're really proud. Any other Phi Kappa alums know if we've ever won this competition? Maria? Liz?

claire, from 95-98, lip sync wasn't a part of greek week. it may have been before that. i know that in 95 they had pictionary as an event, lol. we used to take 1st place in bowling all the time (but we had a sister who was a professional level bowler). our first ever group sport 1st place was in floor hockey in 97.

in 98, they had a lip sync thing that was the opener for greek week, but no one got points for it!

how is the rest of the week going? i know a ton of things got rained/ snowed out!

We ended up coming in third (out of four sororities) which is good news for us cause we almost never place anywhere but last. Unfortunatly the victory is bitter sweet cause alot of greek week was unfairly judged and in the end a brawl broke out between two sororities (not phi mu) at a tug-of-war match that voided the entire competition and left a good deal of hostility.
