AJ Palumbo Center
This question is for any Pittsburgher who knows....what are the acoustics like at the Palumbo Center? CSN are there Saturday and apparently tickets are still available. I'd love to see them, but I don't want to pay $50 if the sound is going to suck.

We saw Bob Dylan there this past winter. It is a pretty good place to see shows. It is small and is a gym. One word of caution. Since it is a gym, a large chunk of the tickets are for the floor and when we were there, it was general admission and standing room only on the floor. It is best to have seats to see the show better, but if you do decide to go for floor tickets, I would get there early to get to the front. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I haven't been there in ages (probably since freshman year when i saw Brian Setzer Orchestra) but honestly it was like watching a concert in a gym, which it is. Especially the floor seating.
$50 is way too much for a concert there. Usually the smaller-draw, less expensive ticket acts are there. But who's CSN? Forgive me if i'm having a brain fart but i couldn't figure that one out. I am personally not a fan. But there is at least one Duquesne guy on here, maybe he can tell you more. |
The only CSN I know of is Crosby, Stills and Nash.

I hadn't even heard of this show till a few days ago, and I don't know why they're playing there unless they couldn't fill the Arena last time. The whole thing is weird. But I really don't want to go if it is that gym-like. A really intimate show at Club Cafe would be another story. |
