I have browsed this website before but I as I was glancing at the website today I came across a professor that I had in college. Anybody had any professors that were this bad??

:eek: "Takes pleasure in failing students" YIKES!!!

Don't the professors get in trouble or something if a vast majority of their students are failing??? :confused:

Most of the people who are failing drop the class within the first two or three weeks!

This site is pretty cool. My university provided us with web based and published ratings of professors. We were given anonymous surveys the last couple of weeks of class then that information was made available to the students. We didn't get to read or add colorful comments though....

As for whether or not it matters... they told us that our evaluations were used as a factor in granting tenure. Not sure if that's true or not.

My University had a student actually create their own site for rating professors. It's pretty good!

Also, for any teachers out there, there is a similiar website:

Some kids at my school created something similar. Here are the ratings for a prof that I had:

I really wish that I had known about this site while I was still in college. But then again, my college was so small you knew about the reputations of the various professors before you were in their classes. Anyway, maybe I will go back and rate every professor that I have ever had....hey I need something to keep me busy while I am at work for 12 hours! ;)
