Dst

Remember to "spring forward" this weekend and change your clocks!

librasoul22 04-04-2003 05:28 PM

LOL. I thought this thread was gonna be about Delta Sigma Theta.

MSKKG 04-04-2003 05:35 PM

HAHA! I thought I had typed "Dst" in all caps, but that's what came up. It still would have been confusing! So sorry--guess I was just being lazy!!!

AlphaSigOU 04-04-2003 06:51 PM

The subject line reminds me of the sign on the California hotel and casino in downtown Vegas... at night the sign on the facade changes to read: "EAT... PLAY... dst... at the Cal!" :D

CrimsonTide4 04-04-2003 07:18 PM

I was  like what has DST done now?

:D 'Preciate the reminder.

Haha...I thought it was about DST too!

Thankfully I'm part of that group of Americans that don't have to set the clocks back or forward! I just have to remember the time differences whenever I call the Continental U.S. after this weekend.

Me too.

God I hate Daylight Savings Time! :(

MSKKG 04-04-2003 10:04 PM

It can be a pain, but I do like having the daylight at the end of the day since I'm such a nightowl.

NinjaPoodle 04-04-2003 10:09 PM

I'm so glad it's here. I love going outside at730pm and the sun is still out!

Young grasshopper, why does this bother you so?

GiantsChic 04-04-2003 10:26 PM

I love daylight savings time... I like it being lighter later... not fun walking home from classes when it's dark outside

navane 04-05-2003 07:29 AM

Here in England we had daylight savings last week. I'm such a dork, I didn't realize that the US was a week behind on that. I called home for something and was confused at the extra time difference.

.....Kelly :)

I usually don't mind DST but when it comes to "Springing Forward" it's annoying to lose that hour of sleep. Oh well. I will be glad to walk out of the mall and still see some sun :)

Peaches-n-Cream 04-06-2003 11:24 PM

Luckily the computer and the cable box automatically springs ahead so I had to change only two clocks and my watch.
