A sad day for Delta Pi
 

Today, I found out that one of our Founding Sisters is being sent to the Middle East next week. Sarah B. is a member of the Army National Guard. She was sent away for training earlier this semester, and last night, her mother sent word that she will be heading overseas.

Please take a moment to say a prayer for Sarah B. and her family.

Hi Erica,

Have you received any correspondence from your sis at war (email or snail mail)? She is still on my Beta list.

Funny thing...she was sent for further training in New York, and she was actually back in town for Easter!! Unfortunately, I was in PA, so I didn't see her. A couple of the sisters got e-mails. She should be in Kuwait by now. Thank you for your prayers.

An update!!
 

I got a letter from Sarah yesterday! She sounds like she is doing very well. She even said that she is enjoying her time in Kuwait. Unbelievable! She isn't in direct danger at this time, and she realizes that she is having an experience that most people would never have. That's a pretty good attitude, if you ask me.

Well, I just wanted to share. I thank you for your continued prayers for our sister.
