GC KDs going to Convention?
 

I bought my plane ticket a few weeks ago, and just made my hotel reservations and registered online with KD.

Any other GC KDs going?

Am I the only GC KD going????????

I'm going crazy trying to pack everything, it's going to be a blast!

extend a welcome to Tucson to any KDs who will be attending

I hope you have a wonderful and successful convention. Ventana Canyon is at the base of the Catalina mountains. The wildfire is to the north and moving to the other side of the mountain and shouldn't be a factor for you.

The president of the Tucson Alumnae Panhellenic is a KD and I know that she is very excited to be hosting her sisters here.

How did it go, Dani?

It was awesome! I haven't had time to type out a full report yet. Hoping to tonight! Especially the "state of the sorority" type stuff- lots of interesting facts and things to know.

Have any ideas for an AA event for the near future?

Thanks so much! Tucson was awesome. LOVED the dry heat. Talk about good hair days- no frizz! And even I was able to tan somewhat (which i don't do easily).

AA events....hmm.....I will definitely ponder that question. Since I have wheels and do not live in the boonies, I have a renewed enthusiasm & committment to making it work. Yeah KD!! :)

You'll probably be interested to learn that Ventana Canyon Resort was evacuated this afternoon due to the Aspen Fire. I'm glad that Kappa Delta got through your convention before the fire turned and came down the mountain.

wow, we are lucky! it was no where near there last week.... definately am thankful, what a nightmare that would've been!
