My best Gamma Phi memory would have to be Convention 2000 in Houston. It was my first one and I had the privilege of being the delegate for the "newest alumnae chapter". |

It was a very exciting but sad time... one of my dear high school friends was a Gamma Phi at another school and she recently contracted meningitis and died so I kept thinking about how proud she would have been/is of me. -Laura |
Congratulations, Laura! Although I'm glad to hear that we have a wonderful new addition to our sisterhood, I'm sorry to hear about your friend that passed away from meningitis. My thoughts are with you, her friends, and family.

We work so hard and got quota +1. First time in a long time. And got amazing women. |
Chapter: Alpha Alpha - University of Toronto
Initiated: Fall 1996 (wow i'm old!) Status: Alumna Offices held: historian, Crescent correspondant, ritual, pledge director (new member educator...they changed the title my last year). Major: criminology major, sociology/history double minor (scary Lea!!) Favorite Gamma Phi Beta Memory: Wow....too many to name. Probably pledge pub my first year. We had a big pledge class (well, for our small chapter...there were 9 of us), and we all got along instantly. We had a blast that night and we didn't even know eachother. It was definately a sign of things to come...we were always a close pledge class after that. |
