Oh, I agree.

My favorite article from the last issue was "Dead Iraqi Would Have Loved Democracy."

BBC has actually been pretty good. Also if you don't mind the program "routing" for the US to win, Fox or CNN are decent. MSNBC has been painful to watch.

I have been watching most of the war coverage on the BBC - it is excellent. CBC and the Canwest Global war desk is ok...

No matter what anyone says every news agency has its own bias, what is important is to know this and aim for the least bias news source (for a particular story).

Well... I have found that CBC and BBC are okay, but of course still a little bias.

CNN is well.... a little to rah rah USA for my taste, and something do go unreported... and I don't like the fact that the Pentagon or the Whitehouse can "request" certain stories are delayed or changed. However I do like the 24 hour coverage, and it is important to understand the viewpoint of the American public.

FOX is well crap.... They have firmly come down in support of the war, and always portray an dissent in a negative light. Moreso their actions at the NY anti-war protest I find very deplorable for a news agency.

Al-Jazera is of coursed biased (stong Palestinian support and anti-Isreal bent). Despite this they are the only non-state controlled news agency in the Middle East. They were founded by ex-BBC personnel at the request of Qatar; Qatar wanted to modernise, and the only stipulation on Al-Jazera is that of non-interference by the government of Qatar. I do like to get the opinions of the Arab world, and this is the best source for it.
