Sisterhood Ideas/Retreat???
 

Hello ladies!!

I'm Tracy and an Alpha Gam at AB at UofM. I'm the sisterhood coordinator, and I'm always looking for some ideas that your chapters do to promote sisterhood. We always have a sisterhood retreat the night before initiation, but I need some more ideas. My chapter wanted to do a ropes course, but of course, its too expensive and my budget is too small. We are however, going canoeing before class starts. That'll be fun. But I was just wondering if y'all had some ideas for retreats or just activities. Thanks so much ladies!!! :-D

A sisterhood idea that we enjoy is having a luau. Everyone dresses up in tropical dresses and we pass out lais. It adds a little more fun to a pool party.

Our chapter does luaus as well. We also do the pre-initiation sleep-over. I also found a nice sisterhood building activity is by making another sister a keepsake (Usually is easy on the budget). The girls have made a lot of neat stuff over the years. I made a AGD photo album for a sister. Cute decorated badge boxes go over well too. Anything that is made by hand is treasured. No matter how corney that is, its true!!
