rush slogans/shirts
 

hey girls....i know that this topic has been done like a million times before, but i was wondering if anyone has come up with any new ideas for rush. it doesn't just have to be tshirts and slogans but even skits and songs....stuff that is catchy. please get back to me. with love from alpha alpha. thanks!

We had this really CHEESY skit that was horrible. It made an attempt to be senitmental and that does not work (especially not on a campus where we still hold FRILLS rushing!). We changed it to a Gilligan's Island theme. IT is neat cause we can always throw in that "Amber is an AGD of Survivor!". We have leis and everything. It is cute and corny, (I am sure Sandy is like PUKE!). http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif We have the tinself curtains everywhere and all that good stuff to make the room look pretty and ordered a railing to look like you are on the front of a ship... the skit is actually funny and makes us laugh which helps duringpractice. We also did something another chapter of AGD does, our bid day is based on our theme skit. We are having a island themed cookout (See Sandy I didn't say Hawaiian!). It should be a lot of fun.
Also, for work week before rush we had agreat idea.. in KY it is SO HUMID and SO HOT in August so we are going to put a baby pool out back and also a slip in slide out front to use at our discretion to cool down when it gets hot. I am so excited! I think it is going to be fuN!
Other ideas, at the house tour show a short video or slide show (Slide shows look dated though!). Also I found a bid day shirt from before I gothere.. it has two Anne Geddes Squirrels on the back (The babies dressed like squirrels!) and it says "In a Nutshell, We're the Best!"
I always liked "If you weren't there, you weren't invited!". Heehee! Let me know if I can think of anything else! Loyally, Sarah

we do a gilligans island theme for rush also. you're ideas will def come in handy. im trying to change the "face" of rush at my school. thank you so much...keep the ideas coming guys!!
